Yousaf Awan has earned his Master of Arts in Teaching degree  from George Mason University. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with concentration in Painting from George Mason University. He has earned his associates degree in General Studies from Northern Virginia Community College in 2015. In 2015,  He participated in an art show at NVCC. He is looking forward to become an art teacher. His goal is to serve and pay back to the community in which he resides. He believes that a commitment to help his society could have a positive impact on the community.

I am a committed artist who evokes empathy towards my community. My oil paintings are expressionist in nature which leads viewer's thoughts in a range of mixed human emotions. My exposure to art has led me question the mystic aspect of life. I want viewers to indulge in visual communication with my artworks. I want to incorporate mysticism and self-identity in my artworks.
